Initially i thought know im not shedding out over £50 for the sake of a wire flowing through my house.
However I looked around and figured that this would be very handy to have.
It picked my network up instantly and everything was setup.
I think it is a bit overpriced but simplicity in setup more than makes up for the cost
It has now become a valued part of my 360 and not only does it do the job it adds heaps of style to the xbox and makes your 360 look unique if all your friends have ethernet that is :D
A well deserved 5/5
I can't think of any weaknesses

"Pricey but Good" - 2 December 2005
As the other reviewer said this is pricey, but it is good, once plugged in, you can setup your connection to xbox live, it found my access point first time, i had to enter my WEP key and then it made the connection to live and i was ready to play. It's better than a standalone adaptor (i have 2 asus ones and a Cisco/Linksys one) but you will need an extra power cable in addition to the XBOX power cable. You can get usb ones (my asus ones are usb powered) but they are picky and seem to lose their settings and look untidy. If you have a wireless AP, get one of these.

"Excellent item but overpriced" - 17 February 2006
Once I opened my 360 box and saw a great big chunky ethernet cable I decided I would need a wireless bridge. I was horrified to realise that it was so overpriced. Anything that has the xbox 360 name on adds on so much more money. However this is a very good bit of kit and is essential in my view. I am using the Voyager 2100 and as far as I know most routers are supported. The signal strength is excellent and I only have lag on FIFA: RTWC, which is an laggy game anyway (I never play it really lol). This wireless bridge is easy to install in a few simple steps. It even picked up my neighbours Belkin router!!! Overall a great product but I would wait if you can to see if it has a price drop.

"welcome to wireless" - 16 January 2006
This is a nice item, and a must have if you have a wireless home network and want xbox live without miles of chunky grey cabling. It has a nice range, and works pretty much lag free even in between floors of houses, and I can even see my next door neighbour's wireless network. Very easy to set up, pop in your network details and away you go. I have known it not to work properly with a friend's router, from Belkin. However, another of my friends owns a belkin wireless router and it works perfectly. I use it with a BT voyager router and haven't looked back. This is not a cheap piece of equipment by a long stretch, however i don't particularly find it overpriced, as wireless access points and wireless cards for pc are not much cheaper and are often much more of a hassle to set up. My verdict: It does what it is supposed to do without lag, and is easy to set up even for a complete beginner in wireless internet access. A top-hole item that i would highly recommend.

"Perfect" - 7 January 2006
This is a dream to fit and configure. There is a dedicated section at the back of the XBOX where this snaps in with USB port to match. As long as you are familiar with wireless setup, you will find the menus intuative. I had absolutely no problems with this setup. OK its very expensive for what it is...but can you live without it?

"Top Product" - 11 January 2006
A must have for the network. This will item will let you use your Xbox anywhere in the house, even the garden if your wireless network will go that far. Good product add-on.

"Worth it???" - 14 January 2007
Wireless is fantastic. I have a phone point and router a fair distance from my 360 and this was the only option for xbox live unless I installed a new phone line or moved the existing one (which involves a lot of cable). I had a cheaper version of wireless adapter which would fail to work every time I started up the console. I plugged the official version in and it works like a dream. I have absolutely no connection issues. It is tiny and fits to the back of the console perfectly. Apart from the aerial which sticks out at the back, it is hard to even see once plugged in. My only problem with this (I hope you are listening Mr. Gates!!), is that I fail to see why this couldn't be built in to the machine. Come on, I had to pay an extra £[...] to get this piece of kit which comes as standard on most new computers (and the 360 is just a stripped down PC). It is a lovely piece of hardware which is easy to install, works well and does exactly what it promises. It is just a shame it is overpriced and not a standard feature on this otherwise excellent console.

"Simple, effective - but is it worth £60?" - 17 January 2007
Not going to ramble on for hours about this one but the 360 wireless bridge is a really neat, simple and effective way to tidy up one more cable in your living room! To set up it is as easy as clipping it to the back of the console, navigating to the system blade on the Xbox Dashboard and entering your WEP key against your wireless router (I use the BT Home Hub which works fine). Once that's done you never have to worry about it ever again! I've not noticed a difference in connection quality or speeds and it's made my living room look a lot tidier!
The only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars is the price. For a simple piece of wireless technology, I can't help but think MS are taking the mickey a bit with charging (......).
Overall though this is a neat little solution for freeing up an ethernet port on your router and for some hassle free wireless gaming. See you on Xbox Live!

"It is pricey - but it's most definitely worth it" - 12 May 2007
As other reviewers have suggested, this isn't the cheapest peripheral available for the 360 - but once you've bought it, you won't regret it.
Adding this to your 360 allows you to connect to XBox Live/Arcade, for multiplayer fun and downloading new games to your hard drive. It also allows you to connect your 360 to your Windows PC and stream media content to your 360.
The only real shame about this item is that it's not Wireless N compliant, so you won't get the benefit of the extra speed and reach of Wireless N, if like me you have a Wireless N router. As long as your router is backward compatible (and they nearly all are) then it won't be a problem.
The only problem I did have is that my first wireless bridge was faulty. After plugging it into my 360, the red "connected" light didn't illuminate, but then did for a short while. After a few days, it died completely, so I got a replacement - which has so far been faultless. Perhaps my first was just a bad apple.
Ditch the ethernet cable and buy this, you won't regret it.

"Does exactly what you want, fantastically." - 3 September 2007
I was pessimistic about buying this product considering i am one to object and complain to any lag which alters gameplay. However with a new house and the option of wired ethernet taken away, i decided to gamble and buy this product.
Firsty, its opposite sides of the house and i dont lag, which is great, occasionally, once every week, i'll join a game thats laggy, but that could be down to the host.
Simple to set up, clips on to the back neatly, and gives wireless internet.
Great :) Wired is slightly better, but nothing is wrong with this.

"Amazing" - 2 August 2007
If you are looking for online gaming you just have to buy this!!
I used to have to run a 40 metre cable through my house from my bedroom to where the broadband router is downstairs. This cuts out all the need for that and stopped my mum from tripping over the wire.
It was quick and easy to set up and fits snuggly in to the back of the xbox without it looking unsightly.
This is a really good bit of hardware xbox have come up with and i bow down to them as i did have PS2 and finding a wireless adaptor for it was a pain.
You literaly plug it in go to network settings enter the name and password for your router and done, took me 2 minutes to set up!
BUY IT TRUST ME!
